Lilian Yamamoto, a researcher of RESAMA, made a presentation in the international seminar “20 years later: the contemporaneity of the thoughts of Abdelmalek Sayad” on “Reflexions of the protection of environmental migrants: has the colonialism finished?”. The event was organized by the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP) and was attended by members of civil society and academia. The seminar discussed how the work of Abdelmalek Sayad is applied on studies of international migration and it was held at the TUCA – the university’s theatre, from October 2nd to 4th, 2018.
